Chancellor of Education

Cindy Shepardson, MS, Ed.D

Education is and has been my calling for most of my life. I was an educator in the public schools for more than 27 years. I served as a teacher at the elementary and secondary levels, as a G/T and enrichment teacher/supervisor, and as a trainer, consultant, and facilitator for Talents Unlimited, Creative Problem Solving, and Enrichment Programming. I received an MS in Creative Studies from Buffalo State College, a C.A.S. in Educational Administration from Brockport State College, and an Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from Argosy University. I am a recently retired Assistant Professor at Keuka College, having taught and supervised pre-service teachers in the Education Division there. I currently still serve as a Student Teacher Supervisor at Keuka. I participate in volunteer activities at Literacy Volunteer of Ontario-Yates (LVOY), and in the Dundee Central School. Currently, I am working on developing and implementing the Pathways to Promising Outcomes program with LVOY which will emphasize personalized productivity including work with Multiple Intelligences, learning styles, creative productivity, problem solving, and work with self-directed authentic projects in areas of personal interest. As the Chancellor of Education here at Flint Creek Church of God, I hope to bring many of these concepts and skills into our education program, with an emphasis on the Bible and the teachings of Jesus.
